No Snow Yet
A very strange start to the ski season, with almost no snow falling yet in Furano. This is only a problem for early-season skiers. Don't worry, Hokkaido usually has a slow start to winter. The snow will definitely start building in December, and then the powder will begin dumping in January.
Meanwhile, the resort is busy preparing for the season, including a new coat of paint on the Kitanomine Gondola building.
